Bio:

Dr. Prentice is the Director of Operations at Allen Institute and a member of the SeaHub Leadership Team. She is also Director of Program Operations at the Brotman Baty Institute (BBI) at the University of Washington (UW) and manages SeaHub operational activities across both institutions. Dr. Prentice was previously Assistant Director for the Seattle Flu Alliance at the BBI. During the pandemic, as Sr. Central Program Manager, she played a central role in supporting Investigators to establish at-home COVID testing for the greater Seattle area as well as the entire University. She previously managed a large NIAID contract for the SSGCID structural genomics consortium (Seattle Children’s Research Institute, Center for Infectious Disease Research), worked at the University of Washington Genome Center and prior to that was Sr. Scientist at Qiagen. Dr. Prentice has a Ph.D. from the University of Oslo, Norway in Molecular Biology.
