Owen is a Research Associate I with the Histology - Molecular Biology Department of the Allen Institute. He holds a B.S in Biochemistry & Economics from the University of Washington (UW). Previously he worked for three years as an undergraduate researcher at the Institute for Protein Design supporting core DNA production and protein expression pipelines. At the UW's Strand and Winkler Labs, he supported research projects applying cell biology systems to environmental issues.
