Olivia is a Postbaccalaureate Researcher with the Neuroanatomy group at the Allen Institute. Olivia is contributing to the initial prototyping of the Knowledge Base starting with mouse CTX/HPF single-cell transcriptomics data. She graduated from Spelman College in 2022 with a B.S. in Biology. As an undergraduate, Olivia was involved in bioinformatics research. She studied the ACE2 receptor in unicellular eukaryotes to understand its evolutionary history in the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Additionally, Olivia studied the role of Nitric oxide and cGMP in the inhibition of apoptosis under ambient light.
