Leticia Vasquez earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Florida. She brings over four years of research experience from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center’s Antibody Technology Core, where she supported multiple antibody discovery campaigns and contributed to large-scale experimental workflows. Her work has spanned the discovery pipeline—from antigen design and immunizations to hybridoma fusions, subcloning, and the production and purification of antibodies. Along the way, she developed extensive experience with mammalian cell culture, high-throughput screening platforms, and flow cytometry, helping generate reproducible datasets for complex biological studies.Through this work, Leticia developed a strong interest in how large biological datasets can be leveraged to uncover new insights and accelerate discovery. She now joins the AI BioDesign team as a Research Associate III as part of the Enhancer Design Flywheel Team, where she will contribute to integrating experimental biology with AI-driven analysis and large-scale biological datasets to advance biological discovery.
Outside of the lab, Leticia enjoys pottery and exploring new places—whether that means hiking, traveling, or discovering new cafés and small local shops.
