Dr. Laura Driscoll is a Senior Scientist at the Allen Institute for Neural Dynamics and an Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at the University of Washington. Her work explores the fundamental question of how humans and other animals recognize similarities between new contexts and past experiences, and how they compose elements of prior learning to solve problems in unfamiliar situations.
