Bio:

Kevianna is a research associate with the Molecular Anatomy team at the Allen Institute for Neural Dynamics. She is working on neuron annotation and reconstructions. Kevianna earned her B.A. in Psychology and B.S in Chemistry with a focus in Biosciences from the University of Hawai’i, at Hilo in 2022 and 2023 respectively. Before joining the institute in the Fall of 2023, Kevianna was a summer intern at the Allen Institute for Cell Science, where she helped to code a Shiny app that looked at gene expressions during the differentiation process of hiPSCs to endothelial cells.
