Jimena Meladze is a Manager at the Allen Institute, where she leads inclusive research strategy and program development. She developed and leads REACH (Research with Ethics, Access, Community, and Humility), supporting research teams across the research lifecycle to integrate ethical, access‑centered, and community‑informed considerations into how science is designed, conducted, and shared.Jimena believes science should be accessible to everyone, and that trust‑building and equitable engagement are essential for partnering with communities as research is shaped, shared, and used.Outside of work, Jimena enjoys spending time with her husband and son and traveling. She serves as a board member of the Latino Community Fund of Washington State and as an advisory board member of the Latino Center for Health at the University of Washington.
