Bio:

Jada (she/her) joined the Allen Institute in July 2022 as a research associate in the Molecular Genetics department. As a member of the mouse genetic tools team, she builds enhancer AAVs to target and characterize specific cell populations in the mouse brain. Before joining the institute, Jada received her B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University in May 2022. While at Tulane, Jada was a member of Nicholas Sandoval’s lab, working primarily on a CMV promoter engineering project for stabler, long-term protein production in Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells.
