Research Associate II

Bio:

Jackie joined the Assay Development team at the Allen Institute for Cell Science in May 2022. As a Research Associate, she is involved in quality control and imaging of hiPSC lines.

Prior to joining the Institute, Jackie studied Campylobacter jejuni under Dr. Michael Konkel at Washington State University. There, she investigated the role of bacterial adhesin proteins in the immune response to C. jejuni infection. Jackie also worked at the Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Lab in the Histology department as a Technical Assistant where she assisted in necropsy trimming, tissue preparation, and sample management. Jackie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Washington State University.
