Hari graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Duke University’s biomedical engineering and computer science departments. At the Allen Institute, he computationally designs and tests protein binders that can be used to specifically label proteins of interest in the brain. He hopes to gain the skills to build platform AI tools for protein design. His previous projects include developing more robust AI algorithms for animal behavior analysis and conducting metagenomic analyses of the algal microbiome. Outside of research, he enjoys hiking/backpacking (especially in the Pacific Northwest) and cooking.
