Bio:

Fatwir is a Data Scientist I on the Representation Learning team at the Allen Institute, having joined in June 2024. He earned his master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, where his research focused on leveraging multimodal learning for histopathological data and quantized latent space modeling. During his undergraduate studies, Fatwir engaged in innovative projects involving generative modeling, ultrasound imaging, and deep learning for biomedical applications. He is passionate about utilizing computer vision and machine learning techniques to enhance the interpretability of foundational models applied to complex biological data.
