Bio:

Faaiz joined SeaHub in July 2024 as a research associate in the lab of Sudarshan Pinglay. His research focuses on uncovering mechanisms of developmental regulation using synthetic DNA constructs and single-cell sequencing. He graduated with a BA in biochemistry and computational biology from the University of Pennsylvania, where he investigated mechanisms of tumor suppression in lung cancer in the lab of David Feldser, as well as properties of intron signal in RNA-seq data in the lab of Gregory Grant.
