Emily is a Research Associate II at the Allen Institute. She earned her B.S. in Microbiology with a minor in Business from UC San Diego, where she also completed her M.S. in Biology, focusing on immunology. Her research focused on understanding how the sympathetic nervous system regulates T cell exhaustion and localization during chronic infection. Emily continued this work as a research assistant at the Salk Institute, further advancing her experience in neuroimmunology prior to joining the Allen Institute.
