Ed joined the Allen Institute in January 2026 as a Senior Communications Specialist. In this role, he helps highlight the Institute's incredible bioscience research and innovations, and also supports the People & Culture team. He spent years in local TV news at stations around the country wearing many hats -- reporter, meteorologist, anchor, videographer/editor -- followed by a stint at Boeing. A Southern California native, he grew up in New York and graduated from Hamilton College with a degree in English.
