Devin joined the Allen Institute’s Enhancer Flywheel team in the AI BioDesign accelerator of the Allen Institute as a Research Associate I in September 2026. Previously, Devin received his Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Washington, and volunteered as a lab assistant in the Fields and Queitsch/Cuperus labs. In his former lab experience, Devin worked on developing and optimizing a DNA library preparation technique to enable Massively Parallel Reporter Assays (MPRAs) in drosophila. At the Allen Institute, Devin is focusing on generating high-quality MPRA data to help build effective biology focused machine learning models.
