Bio:

Amity Addrisi joined the Allen Institute in September of 2024. As the Senior Communications and Media Relations Specialist, her mission is to explore new and creative ideas that highlight the incredible work being done at the Institute every day. Amity is an Emmy Award-winning journalist who spent nearly two decades as a TV news anchor, medical health journalist, and the host of NBC Seattle’s New Day Northwest. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Amity is a proud UCLA ‘Bruin’ where she earned her B.A. in Literature at the UCLA College of Letters and Science.
