Bio:

Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington. His journey at the Allen Institute began in 2019 as a Mechanical Engineer and now leads a team of dedicated Mechanical and Systems Engineers as a Hardware Engineering Manager.

Before joining the Allen Institute, Alex honed his skills in the industrial sector. His focus was on the design, verification, and manufacturing of industrial equipment, where he specialized in pump design, CFD & FEA simulation, instrumentation, and automation.

At the Allen Institute, Alex’s team’s mission is to support Institutes’ goal to confidently produce high-integrity reproducible data by creating, implementing, and supporting reliable instruments, tools, and processes.
