Bio:

Alan R. Lowe is Director of AI/ML at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) where he leads a team focused on advancing biomedical science with AI. Prior to CZI, he was a Turing Fellow at the Alan Turing Institute, the UK’s national AI institute, and Associate Professor at University College London. Alan conducted his postdoctoral research in the physics department at the University of California, Berkeley and gained his Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge.
