Nicole Huber, Ph.D.

Senior Program Manager

Nicole Huber oversees the grant making and grant management activities of the portfolio of bioscience grants in The Paul G. Allen Frontiers Group. Since joining the team in 2013, she has helped expand the portfolio to ~$200M in award funding. In addition, Nicole has led additional philanthropic initiatives including the design and installation of a unique patient care technology for ten major West Coast medical imaging clinics, easing the stress of cancer therapy for over 10,000 patients annually. Prior to joining the Frontiers Group, Nicole was a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Washington, where she also earned her Ph.D. in Biology, advancing the frontiers of in vivo muscle mechanics and publishing in such journals as Science. She received her B.S. in Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
