
Jamie Gehring, M.S.
Research Associate
Jamie joined the Assay Development group in 2018. Prior to joining the Allen Institute, Jamie earned a M.S. in Zoology from Washington State University. She studied brown bear hibernation physiology and seasonal changes in adipose tissue and created a novel protocol to culture brown bear adipocytes. Jamie's graduate studies gave her extensive experience in cell culture and microscopy. She completed her undergraduate education at Kansas State University and received a B.S. in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology.
