
Calysta Yan
Scientific Data Engineer
Calysta joined the Allen Institute in the Spring of 2018 and currently serves as a Data Engineer on the Microscopy team. She is passionate about cell biology and microscopy and is extremely grateful for the opportunity to study stem cell organizational structures with cutting edge technologies. Calysta earned her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Bioengineering from University of Washington. Prior to joining the Institute, her undergraduate and graduate research focused on designing tissue engineered vascular models under the guidance of Dr. Deok-Ho Kim.
