The Allen Institute will cohost CNS 2018 with the University of Washington, with tutorials, the welcome reception, and workshops being held at the Allen Institute headquarters in Seattle. Allen Institute presenters at tutorials, main sessions, and workshops will include: Anton Arkhipov, Yazan Billeh, Anatoly Buchin, Michael Buice, Saskia de Vries, Sergey Gratiy, Lucas Graybuck, Christof Koch, Stefan Mihalas, Staci Sorensen, Uygar Sümbül, Yina Wei, Zizhen Yao , and Hongkui Zeng. Allen Institute Presenters
Allen Institute scientists will host two tutorials on Friday, July 13 at the Allen Institute:
- T1- Allen Institute Brain Observatory and Brain Modeling Toolkit tutorial: Yazan Billeh, Sergey Gratiy, and Saskia de Vries
- T6- Single cell RNA-seq analysis for transcriptomic type characterization: Zizhen Yao and Lucas Graybuck
Allen Institute scientists will present oral talks and posters during the main sessions on Saturday, July 14 - Monday, July 16 at the University of Washington:
- Saturday, July 14, Oral Session 2 - Revealing principles of cortical computation using the Allen Brain Observatory: a large, standardized calcium imaging dataset from the mouse visual cortex: Michael Buice, Saskia de Vries, Gabriel Ocker, and others
