
Amy Torkelson
Research Associate III
Amy joined the Institute in February 2018 where she serves as the 10x Genomics Lead on the RNA Sequencing Team. Prior to joining the Institute, Amy worked in the Department of Biology at the University of Washington. There, she was part of the Center for Conservation Biology as the lead on the project using genetic tools to track African Elephant poaching throughout the continent. Amy received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Washington.
