Bio:

Kaiya joined the Allen Institute's Molecular Genetics department as a Research Associate I. Kaiya is a member of the Viral Technology Core, which packages DNA into AAVs for the entire Institute. She graduated from the University of Washington-Tacoma in 2021 with a major in Biomedical Sciences. After graduation, Kaiya continued research in the Groat-Carmona Lab researching secondary RNA elements within the Dengue genome and Flavivirus serotypes.
