Bio:

Emma joined the Allen Institute in 2021 as part of the Tissue Processing team. She graduated from Western Washington University in 2020 with a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience and a minor in Philosophy. Her research experience includes two years with the Carroll Lab studying the neurobiology of Huntington’s disease. Alongside the Tissue Processing team, Emma now specializes in cell and nuclei isolations for transcriptomic profiling. Additionally, she is responsible for generation of acute tissue slices suitable for electrophysiology.
