Bio:
Amanda Gary joined the Allen Institute in 2017. As a part of the Histology Team, she assists and participates in a variety of pipelines at the Institute. Amanda's work includes tissue sectioning and staining, as well as preparing Tissuecyte, LAS, or ACSF solutions for other lab groups. She finds it exciting to learn about the continual advances of the Institute and the impact that the open-source data is creating in the science community. Amanda received a B.S. in Biology from the University of Washington with a focus on cellular and molecular development. In addition, she obtained PCE certification in Green Chemistry Techniques and Applications.
